Day 1

Bucharest Moeciu

Meet at Bucharest Otopeni airport. Travel along the scenic Prahova valley, through the picturesque mountain resorts of Sinaia and Predeal. Arrive in Bran, old gateway to Transylvania.

Day 2

Ski in Poiana Brasov

The drive to Poiana Brasov takes about 1 hour

Located in Postavaru Mountains, Poiana Brasov is the most appreciated Romanian ski resort. The subalpine climate imposes a January average temperature of -3 degrees Celsius and a snow depth average of 60 cm. The early December snow usually lasts until April.

Day 3

Predeal is one of the most popular Romanian winter resorts. Located in Bucegi Mountains (Meridional Carphatians) in the neighbourhood of Peles Castle, famous by its architecture, the resort offers a dream like scenery.
The subalpine climate imposes a January average temperature of -5ð¦£131; and a snow depth average of 50 cm. The early December snow usually lasts until March.

Day 4

Ski in Sinaia

Known as the "The Pearl of the Carphatians", the resort is located on Prahova Valley, in Bucegi Mountains (Meridionali Carphatians). Having the Peles Castle near by adds up to the natural beauty of the area.
Subalpine climate with a January average temperature of +4ð¦£131; and a snow depth average of 50 cm. Early December snow usually lasts until April.

Day 5

Medieval Transylvania

Visit the Rasnov Fortress - founded around 1225 by German Teutonic Knights. The superb location of this fortress allows us a great view over the surrounding mountains. Onward we reach Brasov - the most important medieval city in the area and one of the most visited cities in Romania.

Great sites to visit as The Black Church, the main square, the old defense walls that are still well preserved on the south and west side of the old city the watch towers and the narrowest street in Europe are just a few points on this day's agenda. Optionally there is a 2-hour trekking tour to the Tampa peak (the Tampa peak is located in the middle of the city and provides an amazing view over the surrounding area.
