Meeting near Bran Castle at 1 PM
Your guide will meet you in the park across the street from Bran Castle. There is a statue in the park with 2 canons next to it. That’s the gathering point.
We will drive 15 minutes to the head of the trail in Bran de Sus. We start the ascent gently along traditional farms, with cows and sheep grazing, or villagers working the land.
Soon we reach the edge of the hill and gorgeous views open on both sides of the trail. We follow the gentle contour of the hill, through woods and meadows up to the Gutanu meadow. This is the highest point on our hike. From here the views over the Bran valley bellow are just glorious.
Descend back to the village on a switch back trail through a dense spruce forest.
Discover the local food
